Pet Policy at Sholeo Lodges
Please note that accommodations for pets require a prior request, as we have a limit on the number of pets per room. If you plan to bring your pet, be sure to add it as an extra when making your reservation.
At Sholeo Lodges, we want everyone to have a good time, which is why we make sure there is a respectful atmosphere among all guests. You can review the rules here.
For example, pets are not allowed to be left alone during cleaning, and dogs must be kept on a leash in common areas.

Rules and Conditions for Guests with pets at Sholeo Lodges
At Sholeo Lodges, we’re happy to welcome your beloved pets so you can enjoy an unforgettable stay with them. To ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for all our guests, it’s essential that you follow these rules and keep the following recommendations in mind:
- Pets allowed:
- A maximum of one pet is allowed per room or apartment, provided it weighs no more than 15 kg.
- Additional supplies for cats:
- Cats must remain exclusively in rooms or apartments and be transported in a carrier or on a leash.
- Health and Insurance Requirements
- Pets must have a valid veterinary record/vaccination record in accordance with current regulations in Spain.
- Pets must have valid liability insurance.
- A copy of this documentation will be required prior to arrival at the hotel or building and before check-in. If the documentation is not attached to the online form, it must be sent to the email address of the establishment where the reservation was made.

The establishment reserves the right to deny access to the pet in the event of noncompliance with any of the requirements set forth in this section. Failure to present the required documentation will result in the cancellation of the reservation associated with the pet, with no right to a refund.
- Special Services
- Sholeo Lodges will provide a bed, food bowl, water bowl, and toy for dogs.
- At Sholeo Lodges Las Palmas Flats, a bed, a food bowl, and a water bowl will be provided.
- Behavior and Responsibility:
- Pets must be kept on a leash in the public areas of the hotel or building, and they will not be allowed in certain designated areas in hotels: the pool area and inside restaurants.
- The owner is responsible for picking up and cleaning up any waste produced by their pet on the premises
- Safety and Rules of Conduct:
- Pets may not be left alone in the hotel room or apartment at any time.
- Cleaning service:
- At Sholeo Lodges hotels, pets must not be left alone in the room during housekeeping.
- At Sholeo Lodges Las Palmas Flats, if you book an additional apartment cleaning service, pets must not be left alone.
- In recreational areas, pets must be accompanied by their owners and must always be kept on a leash.
- Recommendations for customers:
- We recommend bringing your own cat litter.
- Owners are responsible for cleaning the sandbox.
- In case of any food intolerances or dietary preferences, we recommend bringing your pet’s own food.
- Tips for a pleasant stay:
- We suggest bringing a blanket or towel with a familiar scent to help calm your pet in the room or apartment.
- It is recommended that you always carry your pet’s documentation with you while traveling, as well as a tag with contact information, a collar, and a leash.
- Responsibility and Standards of Conduct:
- It is essential to walk your pet before entering the hotel or building to prevent accidents in the common areas.
- The owner is responsible for any noise or damage the pet may cause to other guests.
- The customer must follow the instructions provided regarding the pet’s behavior.
- Financial Responsibility:
- By accepting these rules, the customer authorizes us to charge for any damage caused by their pet.
- The pet owner agrees to compensate the hotel or building for any damage or harm caused to third parties by their pet.
These rules have been designed to ensure a pleasant stay for both our guests and their pets, while promoting respect and comfort for all our guests.
